Vascular Ultrasound

A vascular ultrasound is a non-invasive procedure that doesn’t use and radiation or dyes and can be done right here. Using soundwaves, a vascular ultrasound can examine the flow of blood within the body and assess the condition of arteries and veins to identify and problems or risks.

Preforming a vascular ultrasound is necessary to begin many procedures and will often times be one of the first steps. Afterwards we’ll have a better idea of where any blockages, narrowing of veins, and reduce blood flow maybe. From there we can recommend a treatment plan to address any issues.

Though the treatment itself is non-invasive we do recommend the following when preparing:
• Wear lose fitting clothing, comfortable clothing. You may be asked to wear a gown
• Leave any jewelry at home
